In the same light, even though he keeps quiet most of the time, Fang only says what is needed and always makes relevant and smart decisions. He doesn't talk much and doesn't like to express his opinions. First of all, Fang has a very mysterious attitude that some teens can relate to. His mysterious attitude, quiet but smart decisions, and shady behaviors all contribute to why teens love Fang. His name is Fang, and his very diverse character traits are what truly makes him unique. Other than the obvious favorite character Max from the novel "Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment," there is another one that some readers may even prefer more. All in all, Max's leadership skills, emotional and physical strength, and mother-like care and love for the flock are all wonderful traits that make her character a fan favorite. Even though they can be a handful at most times, if it's Gazzy's mimicking of voices or Iggy's blindness, Max is always there for them whenever they need help or support. On the other hand, Max shows incredible love and care to everyone in the group. As if I weren't screaming with panic inside" (Patterson 30). This strongly built 14 year-old girl shows this as the bird kids are planning to save Angel when she says "'I think so,' I said, trying to sound together and leaderly. Likewise, Max is one of the strongest characters in the whole book, not just physically, but also emotionally. She does this by putting the others in the flock before herself and making decisions that are most beneficial for general good, not just herself.
To start off, Max is a great leader that the whole group looks up to. Just a select few of these traits include being a powerful leader, strong emotionally and physically, and caring to the entire flock. Max is a favorite character for many in the novel “Maximum Ride: An Angel Experiment.” Not only is the story told from her perspective, but she also has an abundance of noticeable traits that readers adore.
